THE BUG SHOP 
The Bugs Unique Gifts Shop in South Africa offers you the opportunity to support our cause with a little creative shopping. Lift your spirits with a generous donation that could really make a difference. Your contribution will be used to purchase the item of your choice and distributed to a local school in need, or to create more magic in an ordinary school day.
GRANDMOTHERS TO GRANDMOTHERS
Since the launch, some 220 groups of Canadian grandmothers have taken up the call to action. To date, the campaign has raised more than $9 million for African grandmothers and the children in their care. SLF has directed these funds to community-level organizations in 15 sub-Saharan African countries that provide grandmothers with much needed support, such as food, housing grants, school fees for their grandchildren and grief counseling.
THE STEPHEN LEWIS FOUNDATION
The Stephen Lewis Foundation (SLF) supports community-based organizations that are turning the tide of HIV/AIDS in Africa. We support women who are ill and struggling to survive; assist orphans and other AIDS-affected children; reach heroic grandmothers caring for their orphan grandchildren; and sustain associations of people living with HIV and AIDS. Since 2003, we have funded over 300 projects in 15 countries.
THE HIVEX TREATMENT PROJECT
The HIVEX Treatment is a new, and very different, treatment for people with HIV. It seems to disable the HIV virus and allows the immune system to strengthen. This blog describes the participants' experiences in Durban, South Africa, who are taking part in and witnessing the treatment.
